New Law Calls For Parents To Pay a Hefty Fine For Their Child’s Bullying

n Shawano, Wisconsin there’s a new law that takes aim not just at bullies, but the parents of bullies.

They believe the parents should be held accountable for their child’s behavior and if the child is engaged in bullying activity, the parents will have to pay up monetarily. The city council passed the new regulation which implements a fine of $366. That’s for the first offence if their child is caught bullying other students. The second offence within one year, and the fine goes up to $681.

There’s a lot of debate with this new ruling. Parents being punished for the actions of their child is questionable on how it will make kids behave better in school, as many other factors can come into play.

There may be underlying mental conditions or at least issues where therapy and counseling need to be implemented, not just money. And the bad behavior may not be a result of bad parenting, but bad influences from other kids or other adults.

Nevertheless, it could be the driving force that makes parents deal more strongly with their kid’s bullying issues, and take faster action to get the child help or take away privileges from them. Check out the debate on this issue and share with friends and family to see what they think about this.

Angry wife writes epic letter to cheating husband’s mistress, tells her what to watch out for

The accompanying is a circumstance that I trust none of us will ever must be in. In light of the Ashley Madison scandal, infidelity has hit the national spotlight once again, and it’s a strict no-no in my book. Cheating on a loved one is never acceptable. No individual ought to ever need to experience a wonder such as this.

But for Melanie, she had to find out about her husband’s infidelity in shocking fashion. Back in March, she found that the father of her two kids had a secret mistress named Jennifer. Instead of hold her frustrations in, she took to Facebook to vent about her cheating husband.

In this post, she writes an angry letter to her husband’s mistress. The wit and courage she shows is awesome, and I hope that she is able to move on past this.

The cheating husband not only broke Melanie’s hearts, but also the heart of their two children as well. What a shame…

His Mom Separated Him From His Siblings. But He Breaks Down When He’s Told THIS…

After facing one of the worst years of her life, single mom of four Latasha Thomas received an incredible surprise from Steve Harvey that gave her hope for a better future.

The famous television host invited Thomas on his talk show, where she explained the heartache that came with losing her job. She not only had to give up her car and home, she also had to separate her children — ages 10, 12, 13, and 14.

“That was the hardest thing for me,” Thomas said while fighting back tears. “I had to let them go.”

Harvey, who once gave a brave single mom a much-needed makeover and gave another one a rent-free home, stepped in to help this mom get back on her feet with assistance from famous rapper T.I.

First, they reunited Thomas with her four children, who broke down in tears upon seeing their mother. But the surprise didn’t stop there: they received $10,000 as well as $15,000 for rent.

There was also one more major gift that Thomas and her children certainly didn’t see coming, as you’ll see in the emotional video below.

“We got to do something, man,” Harvey said. “You can’t see people struggling and do nothing.”

Life Inside The Prison That Guards Are Too Afraid To Enter Is Truly Terrifying

Ciudad Barrios prison

A prison in El Salvador is currently being run by its inmates. The Ciudad Barrios prison in southern El Salvador holds around 2500 prisoners at the moment, which is three times as many prisoners as it was designed for. Security guards have decided to limit their area of work to the outside area of the prison, while Mara Salvatrucha members make sure that things stay in order inside.

Finding ways to kill time

These pictures were taken by Adam Linton, a British photographer who recently visited the prison. This was his impression of life inside the Ciudad Barrios prison: ‘The men stand around aimless with nothing to do except kill what seem like an infinity of minutes, hours and days.’

3

Overcrowding

The prison has a serious overcrowding problem. For instance, this cell currently holds seventy prisoners, while it was designed to house twenty. Some of the prisoners have found ways to accommodate more people, like make-shift hammocks and beds that hang from the roof.

Dog Who Was Terrified Of Human Touch, Now Loves Being Petted

A week ago, we shared a story about a shelter dog in Romania, who had suffered so much abuse that he was scared of a gentle, loving touch. Luckily, the pooch found a new home in the UK.

According to Kerry Wollacott, an animal rescuer who works to help save dogs in Romania, the puppy, now named Kayne, has recovered: “When he left Breast he weighed 6kg now thanks to lots of love and care he now weighs 9.5kg! Huge thank you to a generous donator who paid most of the travel cost.”

Kayne is no longer afraid of petting – he’s giving humans one more chance!

Girl Writes Adorable Note To Try And Convince Her Parents She Has Another Week Off School

Judging by our newsfeeds, everybody seems to be feeling the doom that comes with going back to school, college or work this week – what happened to the land of endless mince pies and sleeping until 3pm? A little person who was also dreading the beginning of the new academic year was Cara, who decided to take matters into her own hands in ensuring she didn’t have to walk through those gates to scholarly hell this week.

Cara decided to write a note – in black felt tip marker with a decorative green arrow nonetheless – addressing her parents, which read:

“the school compnay is taking a brake so the kids will get one more week of school off and we will need your child to sign their name here *insert superfluous yet tasteful green arrow*”[sic.]

We’re not sure whether it was the mention of the “school company” or the fastidious aesthetic attention-to-detail, but somehow, Cara. G’s parents were savvy to the fact that this was apparently not an official letter. Somehow…

Another reason behind her failure might be the fact that said letter was unfortunately posted on a Sunday, as amused mum posted on the caption of the Reddit upload.

I’m personally mainly impressed by the correct use of “their”… Better luck next time, kiddo.
